About this tutor

I am a passionate and experienced teacher with a BSc Ed in Economics Education, a Master’s degree in Economics Education, and a TEFL certificate. I have experience teaching students at different levels, both in-person and online. My main area of expertise is Economics, particularly Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455/0987), WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and secondary school Economics. I have successfully prepared students for examinations, helping them understand difficult concepts, improve their answer-writing skills, and become more confident in their ability. My IGCSE students have achieved A grades, which reflects my commitment to effective and results-focused teaching. I also have experience tutoring primary school learners in Mathematics, English, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. I understand that every learner is different, so I adjust my teaching style according to the student's age, ability, learning pace, and individual needs. In my lessons, I use simple explanations, real-life examples, interactive activities, practice questions, past examination papers, and regular assessments to ensure that students understand what they are learning rather than simply memorising information. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to build their confidence, critical-thinking skills, and love for learning.
